Classics March Inspiration | For You Card with Kaja

Hi there, it's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts here with you today and I am back at Spellbinders blog with my last post as a guest designer for this week. As already said in my previous posts (catch them here and here), I used dies from a brand new Classics March release for all of the cards I shared with you here.

I decided to make my last project quite simple, but yet elegant at the same time. First, I used Fancy Edged Squares and die cut 3 scalloped squares from kraft card stock. I felt like having the same color shapes nested together will look good, but I added some shading at the edges using distress ink to make a bit of a contrast. I knew I want to have the squares shifted a little, so having small difference in color will make it more eye catching.

Next, I stamped ‘for you’ sentiment from a Happy Grams sentiment set, but I felt like the card was missing something, so I added a flower from a Handcrafted stamp & die set. I colored  flower in using alcohol markers and die-cut it using the coordinating die.

I glued everything together using double sided tape and some foam rectangles. In the end, I added some Nuvo drops and this finished up the card.
