Hello, Fun friends! We are so very excited to share with you today because there's just so much fun and creativity. You love to be creative, right? You probably also like to use those wonderful True Color Fusion Ink Pads. That's one of the things Creative Director Kim Kesti shared with us during an episode of T3? Would you like to watch her do this? You can do so right here ! Let's not delay, lets take a look at Kim's cards.
Aren't those just the most fun? We absolutely love the colors and designs of all of them. Kim created The Color Outside The Lines card during our T3 video on our Facebook page. Let's discuss how she created this one!
The base of the card, is, of course, a panel of our Whip Cream cardstock . But, the real fun and inky fingers came with our Watermelon Fusion True Color Fusion Ink Pad and Fusion Ink Sponge . Tip: Cut the sponge into fourths to make it easier to use and get a bigger bang for your buck!] It's a simple technique as you dip the sponge into the ink pad and blend that ink over the cardstock in the spots you'd like to deposit the smooth color. Doesn't it look beautiful?
Once you laid the Watermelon Fusion color you'd like on the base, now you can stamp away with the Different Strokes stamp se t. Each pattern has it's own color. For example: the long splotches are stamped in our Citrus Cooler True Color Fusion Ink Pad and the rings are stamped in Watermelon Fusion ! Pick your favorite color palette and then stamp each of the pieces you'd like. Add a little Black Licorice Silk at the end to create some beautiful contrast.
