You're Pretty Card

Finished Size: 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”

Instructions:

• Fold Lemon Drop cardstock in half to create card base.
• Using a non-porous surface, mix Pirate’s Gold marker with water and dip Splash Sheet into puddle of ink, smoosh ink into surface of paper, let dry.
• Stamp “you’re pretty” sentiment on small strip of Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice ink, trim strip down to fit on banner sticker from Tropical Sunrise pack; stamp “hello” on Black Licorice using Clear Pigment ink, heat emboss with white powder and trim into small rectangle.
• Die cut: shallow pot from Pumpkin Bread cardstock, cylinder pot from Raspberry cardstock, (2) large leaf plant from Green Olive cardstock, (3) small branch plant from Light Green cardstock, and hanging planter from both Blue Lagoon and Brush Gold cardstock.
• Using a small dauber, or sponge, ink edges of small branches with Limeade Splash and ink edges of large leaf plant with Fresh Forest.
• Adhere dry panel of Splash Sheet to card front (may have to trim down slightly); adhere embossed panel with die cut hexagon to card front using foam adhesive.
• Pop up cylinder pot with foam adhesive on right side of hexagon (see photo), tuck in large leaf plant and adhere using foam adhesive, layer leaves as you wish.
• Adhere two layers of hanging planter together and adhere shallow pot behind planter; adhere branches of small plant behind pot, trimming if necessary; pop up finished pot in center of hexagon and adhere top of planter to card front.
• Add sticker with sentiment to card front, adhere “hello” above sticker with foam adhesive.
• Embellish card with gold dots.

Crazy Plant Lady Card

Finished Size: 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”

Instructions:

• Fold Summer Days cardstock in half to create card base.
• Stamp sentiment on center bottom of Whip Cream panel, adhere to card base; pop up Cool Pool banner die cut slightly above sentiment with foam adhesive.
• Stamp plant lady and four different plants on Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice ink, color using color medium of choice (sample was colored with Color Burst pencils).
• Die cut stamped images using coordinating dies and detail cut plant lady.
• Adhere colored images to card front by layering and using foam adhesive.
• Embellish card with enamel dots.

Hello Card

Finished Size: 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”

Instructions:

• Fold Whip Cream cardstock in half to create card base; ink edges of Pineapple Smoothie panel with Pineapple Smoothie ink, adhere to card front.
• Using a non-porous surface, drop Byron Bay or Bluebottle markers to surface and dilute with water, dip die cut oval into ink, smoosh ink into paper and let dry.
• Also using a non-porous surface, use ink smooshing technique to color (1) full panel of Color Splash sheet with combination of Seaweed, Siren and Byron Bay markers (optional: add drops of Sweet Pear and Limeade Splash Liquid color); cut Splash Sheet in half and color additional 1/2 panel using same technique.
• Cut another Splash Sheet in half and using technique in step above, color 1/2 sheet with Starfish marker, 1/2 sheet with Deep Sea and remaining 1/2 sheet with Pirate’s Gold, let all sheets dry.
• From Starfish sheet, die cut upright pot; from Deep Sea sheet, die cut cylinder pot; from Pirate’s Gold sheet, die cut shallow pot *Optional: flick Sour Lemon Silk on Pirate’s Gold pot and Beach Ball Silk on Deep Sea pot.
• From Green/Blue sheets die cut all plants from die set (die cut each plant 2-3 times to allow layering).
• Fold strip of Whip Cream cardstock in half lengthwise (use scoring tool if available) and adhere together, add two scored lines across length of strip to create “shelf” look.
• Adhere oval die to center of card front, adhere “shelf” over oval (see photo); assemble plants in pots and adhere each set together, then adhere (3) sets to “shelf” using foam adhesive.
• Stamp sentiment on Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice ink, detail cut around sentiment and adhere to banner sticker, adhere sticker to card front.
• Embellish card with gold dots.

New Plant Lady Card

Finished Size: 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”

Instructions:

• Fold Rich Coral cardstock in half to create card base.
• Stamp multiple plant images on Whip Cream panel to create a patterned background.
• Color in all images using the white Power Pastel, this will create a resist effect when adding color on top of images.
• Using a non-porous surface, drop puddles of both Limeade Splash and Sweet Pear liquid colors on surface and dilute with water; using a round brush pick up color and dab over stamped panel (do not over saturate), let dry.
• Trim dry panel to 4” X 5 1/4” and adhere to card front using foam adhesive.
• Trim strip of Whip Cream with washi tape to approximately 3 3⁄4” and tear one end, layer with strip with both Black Licorice strip and Limeade Splash strip and add decorative staples on each side; adhere layered strips to card front with foam adhesive.
• Stamp sentiment in center of die cut circle using Black Licorice ink, adhere to card front over layered strips.
• Flick Electric Lime Silk over entire card front.
• Embellish card with enamel dots.
