Handmade Collection Inspiration | Handcrafted Card with Yana

Hello there! This is Yana Smakula, an in-house creative designer for Spellbinders! I feel like it's been a long time since I last shared my projects or posted a blog post here! So let's fix that! I have many projects to share created using  the most beautiful Handmade collection by Stephanie Low. You might have already seen one of the cards shared here and also a collection introduction post by Stephanie herself.

I love to use stamps for my handmade cards and I often use stamped sentiments to complete my die-cut cards. But I also adore using small individual stamp images to create unique, one of a kind backgrounds for my projects. The card I'm sharing today is a good example of how you can take even the smallest image in your set, stamp it repeatedly and have a gorgeous one of kind pattern!

I used a small flower image from this set and stamped it multiple times onto a white cardstock panel filling in the entire space of my paper. I made sure to rotate the image every time I made a new impression. Next, I colored all of these using Copic markers. I also added a shadow outline to each image to make it look like this was cut out and popped up on a card. I also stamped and die-cut a Hand Crafted sentiment for my card and foam mounted it in place. Lastly, I used a white gel pen and added tiny details to each floral image.
