Joyful Christmas Collection Introduction with Simon Hurley

Hi friends, it’s Simon Hurley ! Today, I wanted to share the incredible versatility of all the products from my new Joyful Christmas collection. This collection reminds me of staying in a cozy Christmas cabin, mixing the beauty of nature with the elegance of delicate ornaments hung on the tree.

FLORAL STAG DIES

The Floral Stag is one of my favorite dies from the collection! It features an adorable large deer head and some gorgeous florals that can be layered around the deer. We recently moved to a new home and the previous owners hung a metal deer head above the fire. We hung a wreath around the deer head for Christmas which totally inspired this die set.

I love that the deer can also be used alone for a more masculine project.

On this project, I also used the florals alone. These make such beautiful floral arrangements for Christmas projects!

CANDY STRIPES

The Candy Stripes cover plate die is an extremely versatile background. When cut once, you get an elegant striped background. I love using this for a subtle tone-on-tone background to add texture, but not distract from the focal point.

When cut twice and flipped, this background creates a gorgeous diagonal plaid pattern!

I love the wow factor that foiling adds to projects. So, we also created four Glimmer Hot Foil plates in this collection.

The Ornament String Hot Foil Plate and Die fit across an A2 size card beautifully and adds an elegant touch to your Christmas projects. The coordinating die cuts out the foiled image with ease so you can add it on top of inked backgrounds!

RETRO ORNAMENTS GLIMMER PLATE & DIE

The Retro Ornaments Hot Foil Plate and Die are elegant and fill an A2 size card nicely. These bold ornaments are sure to wow your card recipient!

I also love using these Hot Foil Plates to create a design in Stamping Foam. This way you can stamp the designs to get a beautiful and unique result!

GEO SNOWFLAKES GLIMMER PLATE

The Geo Snowflakes Hot Foil Plate covers an A2 size card with a beautifully foiled design that closely resembles snowflakes. I love inking over this background to get intense color behind the foiled design!

This collection also features coordinating dies for the Halftone Holiday , Winter Woodland , and Folk Art Ornaments stamp sets made by Ranger. These dies cut out the stamped images from these sets with ease leaving a crisp white border around the edge of the designs.
