Mailbox Greeting Cards with Melody Rupple & Parcel & Post Collection

Hi Crafty Friends! This is Melody Rupple on the blog today to share a few projects I created using the new Parcel & Post Collection. The collection includes the cutest mailbox along with other Dies, Glimmer Plates, and stamps to fill the mailbox for different occasions.

Big Thanks Mailbox Card

My first card features the Parcel & Post Mailbox Etched Dies. This set included the dies to create the mailbox, floral accents, and a cute, little envelope. This set is the base of the collection and then you can add additional accents and sentiments.

First I cut the base of the mailbox. To add some dimension, I die cut the door to the mailbox, the front panel, and the side panel three times each, glued the layers together, and then attached the three sections to the mailbox. Then I die cut the handle from Mirror Gold Cardstock. I filled the mailbox with pretty flowers, greenery, and an envelope, all created with the dies in the Parcel & Post Mailbox Etched Dies. To add a little sparkle I added Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems to some of the flowers. The sentiment is from the All-Occasion Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate using Glimmer Hot Foil Roll – in Gold. The background is embossed with the Radiant Burst Embossing Folder.

Valentine's Day Mailbox Card

Next up is a look at the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Etched Dies. I filled the mail box with the hearts and LOVE letters included in the die set. I added the greenery and the envelope the dies in the Parcel & Post Mailbox Etched Dies that I used on the first card.

On this card I used the clear stamp set that is included in the collection, the Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. The background is embossed with the Hand Drawn Embossing Folder.

Christmas Mailbox Card

My final card is created with the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Etched Dies. How fun is a mail box filled with lollipops, candy canes, holly, evergreens, berries, stars, pretty bows, and a cute stamped envelope! The sentiment is included in the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate.

To create the background for this card I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the card front and blended Distress Oxide Ink in Speckled Egg and Faded Jeans. I spritzed the background with water and splattered a little white paint to add the snow. I cut a hill of snow with a die I had from a previously Large Die of the month, but you could hand cut a hill from white cardstock.

You really made this collection shine. Love how you did the “Love” mailbox – inspiration for my upcoming anniversary. I ordered the mailbox; but need to get the love coordinating set. Thanks for the idea…

MaryH,

Love the Parcel and Post collection. The mailbox is so cute and so versatile. Thanks for the great inspiration.
