Hello! This is Leica and today I want to share 5 cards I made using the 2023 Make It Merry Christmas Kit. This kit is filled with holiday joy! It's a super big Christmas set that lets you create more than 25 seasonal cards and even more with all the extra decorations, papers, and more that come with it. You'll find sparkly gems, beautiful holiday patterned papers, different stickers, cardstock, card bases, envelopes, and even foam and tape adhesives to help you get started on your holiday projects.
To add some texture and interest, I got out my sewing machine and stitched around the edges of the card panels in different colored threads using a zigzag pattern. Then I glued the card panels onto A2-sized card bases.
I absolutely love all the elements in this kit! I added the tags and ephemera to my cards. Some I glued directly onto the cards, and others I mounted with foam for a 3D effect. It was a nice change to simply glue on the die cuts instead of stamping and coloring. This kit really has everything you need to make Christmas cards. For some extra sparkle, I scattered jewels and sequins here and there. The puffy stickers also added a fun touch.
Making these cards was such a joy, and they came together really quickly. Plus, I still have plenty of leftover supplies to make more Christmas cards. I'm sure you'll enjoy this kit too!
Thank you so much for visiting! I hope I've inspired you to create some Christmas cards for your loved ones. And why not get a head start with this amazing new kit?
