Instructions:

Catch step-by-step instructions below. Click photos to enlarge:

  • Cut pieces for body of alarm clock and sentiment strip as shown. It is best to glue together 2 of the base pieces to create a sturdier base for the clock.
  • Cut out and layer pieces as shown for clock face. Use adhesive foam under the smaller white circle layer and the center black and filigree layer for additional dimension. Glue the clock hands to depict a meaningful time for the recipient!
  • Fold 3D Vignette pieces on perforations and insert tabs of the 3 inner layers into the slots. Attach black layer (with no tabs) to back layer of clock. Repeat with the finished clock face on front. The folds of the Vignette side pieces match to the shape of the clock, making it easier to line up.
  • Glue clock base to back of front layer of clock. Let dry. Repeat with the back layer, making sure to align with the front piece so it stands evenly.
  • Use foam adhesive to attach sentiment strip.
  • Can be flattened for mailing, but a padded envelope is recommended.
Approximate Finished Project Measurement: 1.50 x 4.25 x 5.25 in I 3.8 x 10.8 x 13.3 cm
