Send Hugs Through Cards with Leica Palma

Hey there, crafty friends! It's Leica here, and I'm excited to share three cards I made using the new Stampendous Hugs Collection from Spellbinders. These critters are just too cute, and I had a blast creating these cards.

Let's start with my first card. I used the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Etched Dies to cut out an adorable kitty from Fog cardstock. I used different colored cardstock to create all the other elements and filled the card with these cute pieces. Adding a party hat and a bow gave it a playful touch. I stamped a sentiment from the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamp Set on a panel made with the Stampendous Fran's Frames Etched Dies. This card turned out super cute, and the kitty steals the spotlight beautifully.

Moving on to my second card, I used Stampendous Fran's Frames Etched Dies to create an oval frame for the cutest little bear from the Stampendous Bear Hugs Etched Dies. The face of the bear was created by stamping with the Stampendous Bear Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. To make it extra cozy, I added a scarf that tied the whole design together. For some texture, I used the Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder on a Lilac Blossom cardstock panel.

For my last card, I went for a fun shape by using the Essential Stylish Ovals Etched Dies in Teal Topaz cardstock. The star of the card is an adorable puppy from the Stampendous Puppy Hugs Etched Dies, cut out in Alabaster cardstock. I added a hat, a gold trophy, and a soccer ball to make the puppy look like a champion. I also included a banner using the Stampendous Hugs Accessories Etched Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Stampendous Hugs Sentiments Clear Stamp Set.
