Video Friday | Me & Teddy Cards with Olga

Hello Spellbinders fans, thank you for dropping in! Today I am featuring my favorite die from Little Loves collection by Sharyn Sowell . I am so in love with the little scene that this die creates - I guess everyone can recognize themselves or their children in it! I have created 2 almost identical cards - just changed the color combination so that one would fit for a boy and another one for a girl.

To me the biggest issue with working with this type of images is that they are already complete - they tell the story and appeal to one's emotions - so what else can I add to put a bit of myself into my card?

You have probably guessed the answer to this question - I can add a frame. I am obsessed with frames and have them added to nearly all of my cards. They always give more importance to whatever is inside them and create some breathing space around the image.

One more little touch is a lacy curtain made from a paper doily. It fills in extra space above the image and just completes the nostalgic scene.

Olga, Your cards are just charming. The frames give the sweet papers and little scene sophistication and a finished look.

Gigi Jordan,

Awe Olga, such sweet scenes you created! You are right, with those beautiful images just nice paper is enough! TFS
