Video: Happy Collection Inspiration | Elegant Glimmer Cards with Nichol Spohr

Hello friends! This is Nichol Spohr with a trio of three Glimmer Hot Foil cards featuring brand new Glimmer Plates from the Sharyn Sowell Happy Collection. In addition to the incredible Baby’s Garden, Vine, and Birds Forever Glimmer plates I’m also showcasing two brand new foil colors in Aura and Prism. These gorgeous foils really show off some incredible effects and are gorgeous. Fun Stampers Journey cardstocks, stamps, and embossing folders round out my designs today. Let’s get started!

The Baby’s Garden and Vine Glimmer Plates were hot foiled onto Fun Stampers Journey Cool Pool Cardstock with Prism Glimmer Foil. The Birds Forever Glimmer Plates was hot foiled onto Fun Stampers Cool Pool Cardstock with Aura Glimmer Foil. Each background was trimmed down into varying width strips, all 5.5” tall.

On the Birds Forever foiled background, a sentiment from the Text Happy Stamp Set was stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

A Fancy Edged Rectangle die was used to die cut Pineapple Smoothie Cardstock. The rectangle was cut in half and tucked under each background strip to show just a tiny, tiny scallop down each side. Embossed backgrounds were created by embossing Banana Cream Cardstock with either the Love Stripes or Beach Towel embossing folder. Each foiled strip was adhered over an embossed background with foam adhesive. The foiled designs were finished with layered flower sequins, diamonds, and acrylic heart accents.
