Our Creative Team member Emily Midgett has created a project to share with us today. At the end of the post we have details on a fun blog hop to inspire you featuring our Creative Team and many wonderful guest artists. You are in for a creative treat today! And of course there is a chance to enter our giveaways!

Good morning! Today is the day... we can finally release all of the fantastic products in the 2018 Catalog! One of my personal favorite sets in the new catalog was the darling Mouse Tea Party set... The facial expressions the mice are making are just precious! I started by heat embossing the mice, a mushroom "table," and some little accessories onto some watercolor paper using black embossing powder, then watercoloring them with my Zig Clean Color markers in a red and gray pattern. I die cut them out with their coordinating Frame Cuts, then turned my attention to the card base.

I used white detail embossing powder to heat emboss the lovely, almost doily-esque image from the new Floral Mandala. I thought the doily feel of this pretty, detailed image would be perfect to go with a tea party! I heat embossed it on an A2 panel of Midnight Mix Layering Paper using white detail embossing powder. I trimmed a strip of Blush Mix Layering Paper and heat embossed a greeting from Mouse Tea Party. I adhered the little scene using both dimensional and liquid adhesive to add lots of texture to this project.

Thank you so much Emily!

And now it's time to hop!! Be sure to visit each blog on the list and leave a little love - we will be giving away three $50 shopping sprees in the Hero Arts online store, randomly drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Thursday, February 22nd at 11:59 PM PT and we will announce the winners the following week.

Hello, crafty friend! I’m Adrienne Boese, better known online as Alice Scraps Wonderland. I love a good interactive scrapbook page! It can be something as simple as a pocket or something more intricate like a waterfall mechanism or flips. Today, we are going to focus on one of those simple techniques - a pocket!  It’s the perfect technique to dip your toes into the interactive...
