Dare to be Different

"Dare to be different" is like my theme song when it comes to cardmaking. I break the rules a lot! HEY, that’s creativity, right? I had a lot of fun breaking the rules and looking at things a little differently for these cards today!

Using the stamp set Weird and Wonderful and our Liquid Watercolors, I made three Dandelion blobs of color and one Strawberry. I stamped "one of a kind" words in Intense Black ink for a border, and also below the circles. I used the "you are" from one of the other groups of words in the stamp set. Googly eyes were the perfect finishing touch to bring this card to "life".

On the next card, I used a long horizontal card and stamped the BACK side of the "dare to be different" words three times in Bubble Gum ink and one time in Orange Soda. I flipped the stamp over and stamped the actual words on top of the orange “dress”. With a fine line black pen, I doodled in heads, arms and legs. Always remember to think outside the stamp and dare to be different!

Thanks for stopping by!

Kirsty Vittetoe,

These are so cute! (And have a great message.) Thanks for the tip about using the back of the stamp to make a shape; I’ll have to try that!

Margaret,

Haha the first one made me smile :) Different and super fun cards :)
