December My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway

Welcome back to the countdown to the release of the December My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, December 2, at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We will be here all weekend long, sharing inspiration before the launch on Monday. Now let's join Ilina for a look at this beautifully detailed kit celebrating our Earth!

Hi everyone! Ilina here for today's sneak peek of the December My Monthly Hero kit. This month is all about celebrating Earth. The kit includes absolutely gorgeous images and a new Earth Palette Reactive Ink pad that I used on my card.

To make the card start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Dove White cardstock. Use ink blending tools or brushes to blend strips of ink colors from the Reactive Ink pad included in the kit. I used a smaller brush to make sure that I didn't contaminate the neighboring colors on the pad.

Once you are satisfied with the result let it dry. In the meantime stamp the hands and Earth using Intens-ified Black ink and color with alcohol markers. Next, die cut using the coordinating Frame Cuts that are included in the kit.

Once the ink-blended background is dry, trim it down to 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the sentiment using Clear Embossing and Watermark ink and emboss using White Embossing Powder. Adhere the stamped elements. Using fun foam, adhere to a Dove White top folded card.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have creative day!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, December 2, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
