Mouse Tea Party Fancy Die Scene

Hello stamping friends!

Scene cards are some of my all time favorite cards to create. There's something about some cute critters set against a beautiful backdrop that I never tire of.

The Tea Party Fancy Die creates an amazing little tea party die cut silhouette that I thought would be perfect for the mice from the Mouse Tea Party Stamp Set. Adding soft coloring to the stamped images and also to the detail of the Tea Party Fancy Die creates a seamless scene design.

The Tea Party Fancy Die was die cut from watercolor friendly cardstock and colored in with watercolor markers, only around the edges of the design. Another piece of watercolor friendly cardstock was inked with Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks for a soft colorful background that blends into the fancy die instead of drawing your eye away from it.

A sentiment from the Mouse Tea Party Stamp Set was stamped on the background and the Tea Party Fancy Die was adhered over the background panel with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.

Images from the Mouse Tea Party Stamp Set were stamped with black ink, colored in with watercolor markers, and die cut with the coordinating Mouse Tea Party Frame Cuts.

The images were adhered to the scene as shown. I love how perfectly the mice fit the size and scale of the chairs from the Tea Party Fancy Die!

Ombre Sunshine Sequins scattered throughout the design complete the scene.

A Decorative Woodgrain Envelope is the perfect finishing touch for this outdoors scene card.

I hope this has inspired you to try some scene cards with your favorite Hero Arts Fancy Dies. Thank you so much for joining me today and have a great rest of your week!

Another cute card. You are amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Chris,

Ainhoa Alonso Gomez,
