Nature's Beauty

Hi, Friends! This is Caly! I’m sharing a card with you today using the Nature’s Beauty stamp set. There are three images with majestic animals with natural elements framing them. If you love nature, you’ll love what this stamp set represents!

To create my card, I first stamped the lion’s head on white cardstock using Inten-sified Black Ink. I then used a Nested Circle to die-cut the image. I knew I wanted a green background, so I chose Forever Green Shadow Ink to ink-blend lightly around the edges towards the center of the image. I then colored the image with Copic markers (G43, G46, E21, E23, E25, E29, B04) and blended out the brown to fade into the green ink.

For my background, I started with Kiwi cardstock. It’s a bright green cardstock that I used the Jungle Bold Prints to stamp and emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Then to add color, I used Forever Green Ink to blend from dark to light from the top of my embossed panel.

I adhered the Lion die-cut image to the embossed background using craft foam and double sided adhesive for some dimension. Then I embossed the sentiment on black cardstock using White Detail Embossing Powder and matted it with some white cardstock. The entire panel is then matted over a Dove White Top Folded Card base to coordinate with the matted sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

This is stunning! Do you have any examples of the tiger stamp in this set?

Donna Thomas,

Magnificently colored…really brought it to life.

Carol Gatton,

Such a pretty card, Caly! So many beautiful details – the shaded background behind the gold embossed leaves is lovely!
