Hi, Jess here and I am excited to share another look at this fun holiday kit! Of course I love anything music related (especially Christmas music) so two specific images in the kit caught my eye right away! ;)
To start I stamped the tree and record player with Soft Vanilla Ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then I restamped them, using my MISTI, with Embossing and Watermark Ink and heat-embossed them with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.
Next I used Taffy and Green Apple Reactive Inks to blend little bokeh circles onto a panel of Dove White Hero Hues Cardstock. I splattered them with water to lighten areas and let the panel dry. Next I swiped my Embossing and Watermark Ink pad across the edges of my panel and heat-embossed them with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. I also stamped my sentiment onto the panel and heat-embossed it with the same embossing powder. Finally I adhered my tree and popped up my record player with a little foam mounting tape. To finish the card I added a little Crystal Clear Lacquer to the ornaments and record for extra shine!

Great design Jess—love your color pallet—very soft background and non-traditional colors. I can hardly wait for this kit to release. Your 🎵🎶Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree 🎶🎵 theme reminds me of a ceramic piece I made for my son years ago. Mr/Mrs Santa were rockin’ to that tune. My son still treasures that piece, and puts it out every Christmas. At the beginning of the New Year, he carefully, and lovingly wraps it and packs it away in its own dedicated container to protect it until the next Christmas. He was only 3 years old when I made that—he’s in his late 30s now. Great job Jess—thanks for the heart warming memories. 💝

One of the important part of the holidays is music and this portrays it loud and clear. It was a piano player in our home but record player works.😉
