Plan for a Great Birthday!

Today I have an idea for stretching your planner stamps to make them work in other ways. They’re not only for planners – I like to try using them for birthday cards, too. I love tailoring birthday cards specifically for the person. One way to do that is by taking their special day and making it all theirs by using their actual birth date. And some of the planner stamps are perfect for that!

I began by die cutting a tag using the Tag Infinity Dies. Then I stamped the tag with the circle numbers from Typewriter Keys Journaling, adding in the month and year. The “today” was stamped from Fun Day Planner and cut out, and the number seventeen was die cut from a piece of foil paper in my stash using the Classic Numbers Fancy Dies. The finished tag was placed on a Kraft card, stamped with various images from the stamps I used above, plus Events & Everyday Planner Icons, all stamped in a tone on tone Soft Brown ink.

I love how easy these stamps made it to create a very special, personalized birthday card!
