Saturdays with Sally - Holiday Tag-a-Long

Oh what fun it is to make holiday tags! Let’s inspire you to join our Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge this month! You can use all your little scraps and gems to make your tags glitzy! And with our new glitter paper that works so well with die cuts, your tags will dazzle.

Remember how tags were so popular a while back? I felt like Sarah Lugg again. I am always looking for a little tag to tie on to a gift, so make SEVERAL and stash them away. I started by cutting many different shapes from our dies. You can also just cut rectangles with a paper cutter. As usual I got carried away, but I will give you instructions for a few that we will focus on today.

I purposely did not put "to" and "from" on all of them because some might be for thank you gifts, etc. Just leave room to stamp the greeting needed. Or you can always write it by hand.

For this first tag, die cut a tree from Fir Trees Infinity Dies from Meadow cardstock. Then die cut the "to you" portion of Happy Holiday Cover Plate from Kiwi cardstock. Die cut snowflakes from Large Snowflakes and Swirls from Glitter Paper Holiday Sparkle.

For the snowflake tag, die cut several snowflakes from Glitter Paper Basics. Mount to tag cut from Tag Infinity Dies from Paradise cardstock. Mount with foam tape and add sequins.

The simple tree tag uses the tag die again, plus snowflake, and a tree from Graphic Lines Holiday Frame Cuts. Cut tree from Kiwi cardstock and stamp the snowy area from Snowy Rooftops Bold Prints in Lime Green ink.

The last tag is cut from Palm cardstock in a rectangle shape to fit the size of the "to you" from the Happy Holidays Cover Plate. Glue onto the tag and then cut a smaller fir tree from the gold glitter paper. Add lots of sequins in a random fashion.
