• Cut pieces as noted; ink dahlia petals and roses with blending tool. To create the Dahlia Dimensional Doily, snip "V" piece as noted from all 4 die cuts, but on Doily B snip on the long cuts as noted. To fold, make a mountain fold (/\) for the outer perforated folds and a valley fold CV) for the inner scored folds. They will interlock together into a "quadrant" of four bases for the doily. The last piece is a little tricky to insert. Add glue between the petals on the 3 quadrants that are in place; once dry, bend one of the other doily pieces to interlock with the remaining doily piece. Glue last set of petals together.
• Add striations of color by flicking brush tip of marker from the bottom up on each of the 4 sets of petals.
• Adhere doily lace inserts in each quadrant of the Dahlia Dimensional Doily. Pinch the bases of the 8 dahlia petals; glue 2 petals into each quadrant. You now have a dahlia base of 12 petals.
• Die cut and emboss 2 petals from green cardstock. Fold on the center vein to create dimension; set aside.
• For roses, use scoring tip to burnish scored lines from the back of the die cut. From the front, bend back scored edges. Place thinnest end of the flower into quilling tool and turn so that the rose wraps around the quilling tip with the rose edges bending outward. Add glue to the rounded base of the flower and hold quilled flower in place; make sure the glue holds before letting go or the flower will uncoil.
