In today’s video, Kim die cut the peonies from  Susan’s Garden Specialty Cardstock , which has a stipled texture to add realism to these botanical blooms. After adding simple color using markers, Kim uses the tools from  Susan’s Ultimate Tool Kit  to begin bringing her flowers to life. You’ll love this tool kit which includes everything you’ll need to create realistic floral designs. She started with the large loop tool and the sponge pad to break down the fibers and curl up the petals. Next, Kim used the Leaf Tool and Leaf Pad to add scored veins to the center of the die cut leaves. To finish off the flower, Kim colored and added dimension to the center pieces of the flower and then she adhered the whole flower together with  Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue .
Watch the video above or on YouTube to see all of Kim’s tips and tricks for making Susan’s Spring Flora peonies. Be sure to catch our Spellbinders Live videos each week, live at 10 am MST on the Spellbinders Facebook page  and  YouTube channel !
