Elegant Cards with the Timeless Collection

Hello Crafters! It’s Melody Rupple here and I'm excited to be on the blog today to share a few cards I have created with the new Timeless Collection. The Timeless Collection includes five new products, including a beautiful card front, a border die, delicate accents, and two Better Press Sentiments Press Plates. So let’s get started. My first card features the Timeless 5 x 7 Cardfront Etched Dies. This is a set of six thin metal cutting dies. On this card, I used all the dies in the set which fills an entire A7 (5 x 7 in.) size card front with a beautiful and delicate lace design. As we head into wedding season I think this set is perfect for wedding cards. I decided to go with a simple black, white, and gold theme. The center oval is die cut from Spellbinders Gold Glitter Cardstock. I used one of the sentiments in the Always You Timeless Sentiments Press Plates. I added the flowers with the previously released Vintage Florals Etched Dies. I kept the flowers simple, just die-cutting from white cardstock and adding the black accents. Here is a look at the Timeless Duo Etched Dies. There are two thin metal cutting dies in the set. They can be layered together or used separately. The smaller design could be used the corner of a project. You can see how they layer together at the bottom of my card. I used the oval in the Timeless 5 x 7 Cardfront Etched Dies in the center of the card and added a sentiment from the New Beginnings Timeless Sentiments Press Plates. Here is a closer look at the background that is embossed with Diamond Plaid Embossing Folder. I added the flowers with the previously released Stylish Oval Hello You Floral Etched Dies and finished off with a few Color Essentials Gems in Onyx. My final project features the Timeless Hearts Border Etched Dies. This is a set of two dies, a pretty heart border die, and a solid border that creates a decorative edge.  I die cut four borders in Lagoon, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, and Rainforest Cardstock and added the solid border in white cardstock on the second border. I used another sentiment in the Always You Timeless Sentiments Press Plates, using Better Press Ink in Cosmic Sky. I used the Stylish Oval Hello You Floral Etched Dies again for the flowers and added a few Spectrum AB Color Essentials Gems. I hope you enjoyed taking a look at the new Timeless Collection.
