Floral Wedding Card Trio

Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I'm thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I love the Copperplate Collection series. Its elegant, luxurious font beautifully complements the flowers. I was thrilled that this collection had a wedding-day theme. If you'd like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials.

On Your Wedding Day Card

Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-283, S6-226 I love Spellbinder’s Colorwheel Card Stock. The Ocean Side card stock is one of my favorites. I gold hot foiled the On Your Wedding Day BetterPress Plate on the Ocean Side Card Stock. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-283, S6-226 I used the matted gold foil for this; it’s my favorite for hot foiling because it coordinates any color card stock. I die-cut the flowers from the Fresh Picked ButterCups die set on Rainforest, white, and Beewax card stocks. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-283, S6-226 I arranged the flowers around the hot-foiled letter and trimmed the excess with scissors. I attached some of the flowers using ¼ white foam adhesive squares for a dimensional effect. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-283, S6-226 I completed it with gold embellishments.

To the Lovely Couple Card

Floral Wedding Card Trio, S5-623, S5-623, BP-282 I used the same cardstock for the On the Wedding Day card mentioned above. I hot-foiled the magnolias from the Spring Magnolias BP plates on the Ocean Side cardstock with Satin Pewter foil. Floral Wedding Card Trio, S5-623, S5-623, BP-282 I also hot-foiled the Lovely Couple BetterPress Plate onto white cardstock using Satin Pewter Foil. The Satin Pewter foil is similar to silver but appears warmer than silver. Floral Wedding Card Trio, S5-623, S5-623, BP-282 I die-cut the foiled letter using the Fresh Picked Label die, and I also die-cut the same shape in a larger size on the vellum paper. Floral Wedding Card Trio, S5-623, S5-623, BP-282 I pressed the magnolias onto BP cotton card stock using black ink, then colored them with markers and die-cut them with the coordinating die. I attached the sentiments panel to the card using foam adhesive and adhered the magnolias to the edges label. Floral Wedding Card Trio, S5-623, S5-623, BP-282 I completed it with silver embellishments.

Always Forever Card

Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-112, BP-281 I hot-foiled the Mirrored Arch Nested Sprigs Press Plate onto indigo cardstock with matted gold foil. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-112, BP-281 Also, I hot-foiled the Always Forever Press Plate on white card stock using the matted gold foil. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-112, BP-281 I die-cut the hot foiled sentiment using the Mirrored arch Label dies. Floral Wedding Card Trio, BP-112, BP-281 I attached the sentiment panel with foam adhesive for a dimensional effect. I die-cut the flower from the Garden Wreath Add-On die on Tutu card stock and attached it to the side of the sentiments. I’m thrilled that Spellbinders offers this collection for wedding cards. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung

Such lovely cards!! I especially love the Wedding Day card with the Fresh Picked Buttercups. The way you used the slightly flattened perspective of the flowers to create a natural frame, is brilliant! Clever and so pretty to look at! Thank you for sharing!!
