Catch step by step instructions for this project below. Click photos to enlarge:
- Create 6 x 6" folded card base in cream. Die cut Fleur de Lis outline in cream and brushed gold cardstock. Note: if using a Platinum 6 machine, you may need to turn the Fleur de Lis Outline design and run through again for a complete cut. For the inner design, cut 1 square from brushed gold and inner square outline and design in both cream and mirror gold cardstock. Cut 3 flowers from cream cardstock.
- Add fold over inserts to each "wing" of the outline die cut. Put in place with washi tape and run through machine to cut detail.
- Glue brushed gold Fleur de Lis layer to cream die cut layer and attach to card base. For inner square, offset mirror gold die cut beneath the cream die cut and attach to brushed gold square base. Attach with foam squares to card base as shown. Layer and adhere sentiment. For flowers, use stylus Tool 'n One attachment to flower petals to create depth. Attach gold embellishment to flower centers and attach to card.

Hi Melody, thank you so much for your kind words. Please keep in mind that we have a format that we hope appeals to everyone :-) It’s a hard balance because I’m told often by viewers that the videos are too long. I am considering doing a video over on my own Youtube Channel that has voice over and is slower so be sure to subscribe over there as well to get the best of both worlds.
Mary, thank you so so much for your kind words. I hope you have your die and have had a chance to play with it for the virtual contest :-) Be sure to share what you make – I know it will be lovely!!
Laurie, yikes unfortunately I don’t know the product number. The stamps simply came from my huge stash. If I can locate what company I’ll certainly come back and update my reply.
Doris, thank you so much for that lovely compliment!!
