Paper Hugs With Jennifer Rustioni

Hi everyone! This is Jennifer Rustioni from @armieritagli! I’m very happy to be back as a guest on the Spellbinders Blog! Today I share with you the projects I realized featuring the new super cute Stampendous Hugs Collection! These critters are really the cutest, aren’t they??

BIG HUG

The first card I realized is featuring the Stampendous Bear Hugs Cutting Dies. I die-cut the bear and then stamped the bear's face using the Stampendous Bear Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamps.

I colored the bear with Copic Markers in shades of brown and then realized the nose and the eyes with a black fine liner. After that, I die-cut the hearts and colored them in shades of pink.

I chose to place the bear to the right (and not in the center) to have a more interesting design. I glued the bear and the hearts on a kraft card stock and then I stamped the sentiment on the left. At last, I matted my card with black cardstock.

MEOWY CHRISTMAS

For my second project, I was inspired by the sentiment and chose to realize a Christmas card! I die-cut the cat using the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Cutting Dies and then stamped the cat's face using the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamps.

I colored it with Copic Markers in the shades of orange and then realized the nose and the eyes with a brown fine liner. I die cut the wooden sign using a die cut from the Stampendous Hugs Accessories Cutting Dies and colored it with Copic Markers in shades of brown. After that, I stamped the sentiment on the sign with the Distress Ink Picket Fence and went over it with a white gel pen.

I realized the background by blending some Distress Ink in the shades of blue and then added the snowflakes using a white acrylic marker and a white gel pen. At last, I assembled my card and matted it with black cardstock.

YOU DID IT!

The last card I created is featuring the Stampendous Puppy Hugs Cutting Dies. I die-cut the dog and then stamped the dog's face using the Stampendous Puppy Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamps. I colored it with Copic Markers in shades of beige and brown. Once again, I realized the nose and the eyes with a black fine liner.

I die cut the banner using the die cut from the Stampendous Hugs Accessories Cutting Dies and colored it with Copic Markers in the shades of pink and then, I stamped the sentiment using the Stampendous Hugs Sentiments Clear Stamps. I realized the background, embossing a black card stock using the Spellbinders Tufted 3D Embossing Folder, and then assemble my card.
