Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking

Hello crafty friends! It is Karen Brown here and I am so happy to be back on the Spellbinders Blog. Let's start with the heart of every crafting project - the sentiments. Stampendous has unveiled an exquisite collection of sentiment sets that cater to every occasion, from birthdays to thank yous, and everything in between. With playful fonts and heartfelt messages, these sentiments add a personal touch to your creations.

Versatile Sentiment Set

Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, SDS-190 Whether you're expressing gratitude, spreading joy, or sending love, Sincere Sentiments has the perfect stamp for every occasion. I fell in love with the "You Are Fabulous" text and thought it would look adorable on one of Stampendous older sets called Kitty Hugs. I created a shaped card and mat using Stylish Ovals Nesting Dies and a Spellbinders A2 Top Folding Card Base. To create the shaped card, I adhered the cutting die just above the card base fold. The mat and accent colors are from the Happy Days Assorted Cardstock Pack. Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, SDS-190

Clever DIY Gift Card Holder

Now, let's move onto a fun and practical DIY project - a gift cardholder. My daughter's birthday is this month, so I designed this handcrafted gift card holder using Stampendous handy A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelop Kit. The kit also includes 6 words and shadow dies + an ampersand. Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, S7-247 The holder was quite easy to make, and I embellished it with die-cut flowers from Be Bold Blooms cut from Happy Day cardstock. Following the kit instructions, I used 80# cardstock for the popup gift card holder. Don't you just love the aqua, turquoise, and orange together? Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, S7-247

Easy Rainbow Birthday Card

I never have enough birthday cards, so the Birthday Messages stamp set is perfect for me. It includes the typical "Happy Birthday" stamp but also contains both thoughtful and humorous phrases too. I love a good rainbow card and this one came together very quickly. I cut 7 3/8" strips of cardstock with my Paper Trimmer and then glued them at an angle to my background. I then stamped my two sentiments onto the panel and popped on an A2 card base with craft foam and Bearly Glue. Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, STP-224

Simple Yet Thoughtful Sympathy Cards

I always try to keep Sympathy Cards on hand, and I love the thoughtful phrases in the Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set. In times of loss and sorrow, the power of a heartfelt gesture can provide immeasurable comfort. While words may seem inadequate, a handmade sympathy card speaks volumes, offering solace and support when it's needed most. For these 2 cards, I ink blended a circle with Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress inks. After letting the ink dry, I stamped the floral image and sentiment from the Sincere Sentiments stamp set and then added some simple Clear Dimensional Dots. Perfect Sentiments for Cardmaking, STP-225 With Stampendous sentiment and die sets at your disposal, the world of crafting is truly at your fingertips. Whether you're expressing heartfelt sentiments or unleashing your creativity with intricate designs, these sets will work with most every project. In my craft room, I love this versatility! A BIG thank you to Spellbinders for allowing me to play with these beautiful stamps and dies. Thanks so much for stopping by today, it was good to see you!
