Hello there, Creatives! It's Janette here today to share a little about stretching your dies by creating stencils. Dies can be pricey, so making the most of the investment makes my crafty heart smile!
To begin cut the Flower Garden Fancy Die from a masking paper or large full stick postie notes. Place mask onto A2 sized (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") panel of Hero Hues Arctic cardstock. Then ink blend with Mint Julep and Indigo, leaving a highlight in the middle for a glowing effect.
Carefully peel away masking and color in a few flowers and leaves with colored pencils. Be selective or color them all, your choice!
Die cut Hello Message in Hero Hues Dove White. Coat bottom half of Hello with liquid Precision Glue. I used one of those old triangle shaped makeup sponges (that's a blast from the past, right?!). Sprinkle on chunky Snowfall Glitter and then adhere sentiment to slightly trimmed top half of a card base. By trimming off just a smidge, the white strip across the bottom of panel from the back side of the card shows. A fun little surprise detail!

gotta love ways to save money! I haven’t tried this with paper yet but I have taken stamps and stamped on whats called stencil banks and made my own stencils the stencil blanks are usually available at your local craft store. It take a bit more time but you have a permanet stencil.. I did experiment with running the die and stencil blank thru my die cut machine but wasn’t successful. so I ended up cutting it by hand
So clever, and the result is incredibly pretty!!
