Dimensional Infinity Hot Air Balloons

Hello friends! Infinity Dies are fantastic for creating multiple images in different sizes. For today's card share I am using a couple of sizes of the Hot Air Balloons Infinity Dies to create these dimensional hot air balloons for an encouragement scene card.

Clouds were stenciled over Hero Hues Paradise Cardstock with the Cloud Pattern Stencil and Unicorn Pigment Ink. Once the ink was dry I stamped a sentiment and birds from the Hot Air Blooms Stamp Set on the background with black ink.

The Hot Air Balloons Infinity Dies were die cut from Hero Hues Azalea, Cherry, Papaya, Canary, Kiwi, and Amethyst cardstock as well as white cardstock. The colorful hot air balloon pieces were scored and fold in half, four balloons per hot air balloon and secured to a white hot air balloon base. The hot air balloon and basket were adhered to the cloud background with foam adhesive.

Banners from the Hot Air Blooms Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

R35, YR04, Y08, YG05, BG11, BG13

The images were die cut with the coordinating Hot Air Blooms Dies and adhered to the design with foam adhesive to finish the card.

Thank you for joining me today! Always let your dreams soar...

Denise Raley,

So cute! How do you mail them?

So cool. Love the 3-D effect! You have the greatest inspirational ideas Nichol! Thank you!

Chris,

Very cool. Ok to mail? I always worry when trying to mail dimensional cards.

Ceda Pearsall,

This card design is amazing. I am very new to card making. I love it, but right now my biggest challenge is finding the time to create and make. Often I get so behind that persons to whom I want to send cards do not receive one… because I have neither made one, nor bought one for him/her. It is discouraging. I love sending cards whether handmade or purchased. Well, I truly appreciate the steps spelled out on Hero Arts website, perhaps it will give me enough focus to get some cards made…
