Glittery Gold Thank You

For today's card I've decided to carry over some holiday sparkle to a post-holiday thank you card with the help of Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. The shimmer and shine you get from this embossing powder is incredible! So incredible that I ended using it three different times on my card.

First, I stamped a background with VersaMark ink using the Henna Flower Pattern stamp and embossed it using the Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. The gold on the pool layering paper creates such a beautiful rich look.

Next, I die cut the word "thank" from black cardstock using the Thank You Pair Fancy Die. Then I stamped the word "you" from the Snarky Mix & Match Messages and heat embossed it with the Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. And to push the sparkle level over the top, I heat embossed a thin strip Gold Glitter Embossing Powder along the top edge of my sentiment strip.

I popped up the stamped panel on a black card base and adhered my message to the top. The word die is just adhered along the bottom edge to the black strip, so the top part is left floating, which creates some fun dimension.

I can't remember the last time I made l card with no white cardstock, but I love the richness of the colors of this card. And of course the glittery shine!
