Happy Anniversary

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the beautiful Color Layering Birds & Blossoms stamp set and coordinating dies. This set can be used for so many occasions but today I decided to create an anniversary card.

I started off by cutting a Tag Infinity Die from Snow Paper. I then took the Color Layering Birds & Blossoms Stamp Set and stamped the branch using Cup O’Joe Mid-Tone Shadow Ink. I took the blossom stamps and stamped these on to the branch using Soft Pink Shadow Ink. On a separate piece of paper I stamped the birds using Soft Sky and Stone Wash Shadow Inks. The birds were then cut out using the coordinating dies.

I took the ‘anniversary’ sentiment from the Happy Stamp & Cut set and stamped this using Intense Black Ink on to the bottom of the tag. I then stamped the ‘happy’ from the Birds & Blossoms set on top using Soft Sky Shadow Ink (this doesn’t show up too well in the photos but shows up well in real life). The birds were adhered to the tag using foam tape. Taking a piece of Kraft Paper, I stamped the Designer Woodgrain stamp on to it using Soft Brown Shadow Ink. This piece was added to an A2 white card base using tape runner. I added some twine and a Little Clothes Pin to the top of the tag and added this to the card using two layers of foam tape. To finish the card off, I added a few blue enamel dots.

Thank you for popping by today, happy stamping!
