When I was in high school, I had an outfit that was SO 80s-tastic that I'd wear it today if I still had it! For all you young peeps - the clothing store to end all clothing stores in the 80s was Benetton, and we had one in our tiny mall. I would save up the money I made working at McDonald's for $3/hour and shop there.
This one outfit beat them all though. They had these pajama sort of outfits that were pants & matching tops out of soft cotton, and the day I saw THE ONE my heart stood still. They had licensed a design from Keith Haring and it was this amazing, primary color, whimsical design that he was famous for. I literally wore that ensemble out!
When I saw the Graffiti Lines Bold Prints stamp, my 80s girl heart skipped a beat, and I had to color it just like my favorite outfit. Then I used the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies to cut it out to be the moon over my die cut New York skyline, which I cut twice with the dies from City HeroScape. I flipped the black die cut so the buildings are in the opposite orientation - this stretches the die to allow for layered die cut scenes.
I used an 1/8" hole punch to cut three little circles colored with the same markers and arranged them around the sentiment from City HeroScape.
I hope you enjoy this modern, graphic scene - I sure had fun making it.

I have to admit, I didn’t see it originally in the graffiti lines stamp but your card definitely makes me thinks 80’s, I vividly remember those bright bold patterns well into the early 90’s 😀
That is a beautiful card. And I got that 80’s feeling too when I saw the bold prints stamp, I have a younger brother who was in this art then. I really like your color combination for this.
