Let's Get Digital!

With the October release, we have added new products to a fun category in our shop - Digital Products! They are strictly digital downloads - no physical product will ship. Create with them with your computer or device! Or print them out to add to your traditional cardmaking, like we did here.

This first card features the Christmas Tree Digital Papers. The download includes eight patterns of 12" x 12" paper at 300 dpi in .jpg format. They are printable at any size. They can be used for so many things - invitations, planner stickers, planner covers or dashboards, digital albums, jewelry, collages, blog themes, web design, art prints, art posters and more!

For this card, the pink version of the paper was simply printed out and used as the background of the card, covered with vellum to mute it a bit. Then a few of the trees were trimmed out of the paper with scissors, popped up and highlighted with EarthSafe Iridescent Glitter.

The next card is the Snowman Card Printable. This one is so handy! Simply print it out on white cardstock, trim, and you have a card! Easy peasy!

You can keep it simple, or you can step up the card a bit! The printable comes with extra elements that can be trimmed out with scissors and added to your card. Here an extra snowman, hat and scarf were cut out and popped up with foam tape to add dimension. A line of "snow" was created with Snowfall Glitter.

The third card also used the Snowman Card Printable, this time simply as a background paper! Combine it with stamps and dies from your collection.

The other new digital product - Bottle Brush Tree & Accessories - is a full digital kit which includes both images and brushes. Lots of fun for those who are digitally-inclined!

Happy creating!

How to make a Polar Bear Christmas Card with Alcohol Markers

Hello, cardmaking friends! It’s Mona Tóth here, and I’m so happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I’m sharing a Christmas step-by-step card tutorial featuring the Polar Friends Stamp and Die Set by Simon Hurley. This card was inspired by the Christmas advertisements I remember seeing on television when I was a child in the 1990s. They often featured polar bears surrounded by...
