Rainbow Blended Coffee Mugs

Good morning! Jess here with a pretty rainbow of stacked coffee mugs in a slimline card!! The perfect jolt of caffeine to start your Wednesday! ;)

I love the hearts spilling out of the mug in the Cup of Love stamp set and thought that'd be the perfect topper for a stack of coffee mugs! To start I stamped the plain mugs onto a stack of full sheet Post-it notes with Intens-ified Black Ink and fussy cut them. Then I started on the top of a 3.75" by 8" inch panel of Hero Hues Dove White and stamped the mugs, masking each mug as I worked my way down. When I finished stamping my mugs I left the masks on and added a mask for the ground. Then I blended Cup o' Joe ink onto the bottom of the panel concentrating the color around the mugs. Next I blended Taffy, Fruit Punch, Pool Party, Splash, and Thistle Reactive Inks around each masked mug. Once I was done blending I removed the masks.

Next I used a rainbow of Copic markers in similar shades to color each mug. I focused the darker shades on the outer edges of the mugs and faded to a lighter shade in the center. I also stamped the heart mug onto a scrap piece of Hero Hues Dove White cardstock, colored it with Copics, and die-cut it with the coordinating die. I popped that one on the top of the stack with foam mounting tape. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and then stamped the sentiment from Cup of Love with Intens-ified Black Ink to finish the card.

And that's it! I kept this card pretty simple but you could add patterns to your mugs or even stamp smaller images onto your mugs to create designs. Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a fantastic week!
