Under the Mistletoe

Hello there, I hope you are starting to feel the spirit of the Holiday Season here on the blog this week starting with the October My Monthly Hero Kit sneak peeks last week and the release on Monday. For me, it's truly the most wonderful time of the year, as I LOVE Christmas crafting.

Today I have a card using one of the October add-on sets, the Nice Elves and the coordinating Frame Cuts. This set is so fun to work with, especially for coloring. I decided to use the elves that are kissing each other. I started by stamping them onto Snow layering paper using the Intense Black ink. I colored them with Chameleon pens and Color tops and die cut them.

I wanted to have a mainly white background, but didn't want to be too plain. I cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Snow layering paper and cut the heart in the middle using the Hearts Infinity Dies. I cut the same size heart from red fun foam. I stamped the mistletoe with Intense Black and the sentiment using Crimson bold ink. I stamped a little heart on the heart die cut. Colored the images with Chameleon Pens.

To assemble the card, I started by adhering the white panel onto a Blush mix folded note card (Grenadine). Next in the heart "hole" I adhered the red fun foam heart. On top of it I adhered the snow heart. I adhered the elves using mounting tape. Last, but not the least I added few sequins from the Poinsettia sequin mix.

Hope I've inspired you to get craft today and think outside the box when it comes to crafting.

I love the “nice elves” and the project that Nichole did with them was awesome. Thanks for sharing these ideas as you’ve almost convinced me that I need those stamps.
