Hello friends!! It's Channin here and today I'm creating a Halloween card featuring the September Card Kit of the Month . In the video I demonstrate a fun and easy technique for adding texture to your solid stamped images.

To create this card I first stamped the haunted house from the Haunted Scenic stamp set (included in the September Card Kit of the Month ) in Granite Core Ink onto Dove White cardstock. I then swiped Intens-ified Black Ink over the stamp and stamped onto of the previously stamped haunted house. I then repeated this process till the house had plenty of streaky texture. Next I stamped the tree in Espresso Core Ink and the pumpkins in Pumpkin Core Ink . I then swiped the pumpkin stamp with Espresso Core Ink to add the streaky texture to the pumpkins as well.
Next, I stamped the skeleton band and the bats in Intens-ified Black Ink . I then die cut all the images out with the coordinating dies. Next, I used Copic markers to color in the windows, the tree and the pumpkins. I then stamped the moon onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base in Lemon Drop Reactive Ink . Next I added Creamsicle Reactive Ink to the moon stamp with a blending brush and then stamped to create a gradation over the moon. Next, I stamped the moon again but this time in Embossing & Watermark Ink . I then poured clear embossing powder over the moon and the heat set.
Next, I ink-blended over the card front with Granite and Charcoal Core Inks . I then stamped a sentiment onto Pitch Black cardstock in Unicorn Pigment Ink . Next, I poured white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool. I then die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die. Lastly I finished the card by adhering the bats over the moon with Precision Glue and then adhering all the remaining diecuts to the card front with foam adhesive.
