Video: No-Line Coloring with the October 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit

Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and today I'm creating a Christmas card with the October 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit . Check out the video below to see how I no-line color a solid stamped image then ink blend and stamp a serene wintry scene.

Watch below or on the Hero Arts YouTube channel .

To create this card I first stamped the house and pine trees image from the October My Monthly Hero Kit in Mist ink onto the front of an A2 top-folding card base made from Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I then Copic colored the scene.

Next, I created a mask for the image by stamping the scene in Black India Ink onto a sticky note and then fussing cutting it out. I then placed the mask over the image and masked off the ground with tape. Next, I ink blended the sky in Dusty Blue , Stone Wash and Nautical . I then removed the masks and Copic colored the top of the snow.

Next, I thoroughly dried the card front and stamped a sentiment in Embossing & Watermark Ink . I then poured silver embossing powder over the sentiment and heat set. Next, I placed the masks back over the scene and ground and stamped the included cling stamp in Unicorn Pigment Ink to create the look of snow. I then removed the masks and ink blended the bottom of the card with Mist . Lastly, I finished the card by adding snow to the pine trees with a white gel pen.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
