Video: Stencil and Color with New Two-Tone Metallic Sprays

Good morning! Jess here with a video tutorial sharing how to color and stencil with the new Two-tone Metallic Sprays !

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please click HERE to watch on YouTube.)

To start I took a piece of Passion Flower cardstock and temporarily taped the Ornate Flourish stencil over the cardstock. I placed it in a splatter box (but any leftover box would do) and spritzed it a few times with the Royal Purple+Gold and Fuchsia+Gold Two-Tone Metallic Sprays . I blotted off the excess spray and then removed the stencil before letting the panel dry completely.

While the panel was drying I stamped the bouquet from The Sweetest onto a piece of vellum with Embossing & Watermark ink and heat-embossed it with Brass embossing powder . I die-cut it with the coordinating dies and then also die-cut a piece of Dove White cardstock with the same die, but without stamping.

I placed the white die-cut piece into my splatter box and sprayed it with the same two-tone metallic sprays. This time, however, I sprayed until I had full coverage of the white cardstock and then I dried it with my heat gun. I die-cut the Thanks sentiment from Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut XL from Passion Flower cardstock three times and bronze glitter cardstock from the Fall Glitter Paper Pack and adhered them together with Precision Glue . Then I adhered the colored die-cut onto my stenciled panel and then adhered the vellum piece at a slight offset so the color would peek through. Finally I added the sentiment to finish the card. I wish you could see the metallic shimmer in person...it's so pretty! I love how these sprays make it super easy and fun to add a lot of wow to a card design!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful week!
