Video: Watercolored Die Cuts Featuring the November My Monthly Hero Kit

Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and today I create a couple of holiday tags with the November 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit . Check out the video below to see how I watercolor die cuts with Reactive Inks and and then add frosty details to create festive tags.

Watch the video below or HERE on the Hero Arts YouTube channel.

To create these tags I first die cut several foliage images out of watercolor paper with the kit’s dies. I then watercolored the die cuts with several Reactive Inks. I used Blue Raspberry and Purple Galaxy for the greenery, Fruit Punch , Berry Smoothie , Lemon Drop and Key Lime Fizz for the flowers. Lastly, Root Beer , Fruit Punch and Purple Galaxy for the pinecones.

After I watercolored the die cuts I then die cut a tag out of Eggplant cardstock. I ink blended over the tag with Nautical ink and then splattered the tag with watered down Unicorn ink.

Next, I arranged the die cuts and adhered them to the tag with foam adhesive. I then splattered the die cuts with more Unicorn ink. Next, I stamped “to” and “from” in Embossing and Watermark Ink onto the tag. I then poured gold embossing powder over the sentiments and heat set them.

Next, I applied White Hero Paste to the die cuts. I finished the tags by pouring Icicle glitter over the Hero Paste.

I hope you enjoyed today’s tags and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
