Watercolored Parks - Hero Arts

Watercolored Parks

Some of my favorite woodblock stamps from Hero Arts over the past year have been the destination stamps. So when I saw National Parks Poetic Prints, a set of four woodblock stamps drawn in the same style, I was instantly in love!

I created four small notecards so I could play with each of the destinations. I die cut rectangles using the Nesting Postage Stamps Infinity Dies, and then stamped the parks in Versamark ink and embossed in white.

Next, I watercolored the parks using my Watercolor Dot Palette. I love how watercoloring looks next to white heat embossing!

I finished the cards by mounting the watercolored parks onto a square of Snow paper, and then stamping messages from Road Trip. They coordinate really well with these poetic parks. The card bases were made with Kraft paper.

For every National Parks Poetic Prints stamp set purchased, Hero Arts will donate 25% of the profits to our nation’s national parks!

If you love the style of this stamp set, check out the Route 66 Poetic Prints too – they are so much fun!

Do you have any plans to visit our National Parks this summer?

Take care,
