Your Friend Misses You!

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here with you today sharing a card I created using the Flower Shop Background Cling. This delightful red rubber stamp is A2 size - perfect to stamp onto a card base.

Though the stamp has several windows, sills and flowers to color, I wanted to create a clean and simple card spotlighting two of the windows.

I started by stamping the image twice with Intense Black Ink. Once onto a Dove White Top Folded card base and a second time onto scrap cardstock as I will only need the window awning.

On the card base, I colored two of the windows with Copic markers. I then colored and fussy cut the awning on the scrap cardstock. I popped it onto the matching awning on the card base with foam dots for dimension.

Next, I die cut two circles, one smaller than the other, using the Nesting Circle Infinity Die set in Pitch Black cardstock.

I adhered the circles over the windows and added a few enamel dots from the Aquas set.

To complete the card, I stamped and trimmed sentiments from the Greetings From Stamp & Cut set. I matted the sentiments with Paradise cardstock and adhered them to the card.

Glad you stopped by today! Thanks for taking a peek!

Very clever use of this stamp! Love it!

Marie Ensley,

Such a busy stamp but separating out the windows with color & circles just make the whole card pop.
