Hi there, crafty friends! Tina here from Cards and Coffee Time, I am excited to be on the Spellbinders Blog with you! Today we are revealing and creating 2 cards with the fabulous Stitched Die set behind Door No. 8 in the 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar. I love to create handmade Christmas cards that are extra special and this advent calendar has you covered with fabulous dies that can be stitched taking ordinary cards to the next level, making them extraordinary keepsakes. The "Joy" stitched die set is so pretty and has 4 pieces. A shadow of the Joy, the lovely Joy greeting with a beautiful font, and the "o" in Joy can be replaced with a stitched ornament with the ornament topper. Super easy to stitch and beginner friendly. I love that all the elements can be layered.

Watch video tutorial below or on our Youtube channel:

For my first card, I also used the Snowflake Die Set in Door #5 of the advent calendar, it made the perfect backdrop for my stitched Joy. For my second card, I am using the Joy die along with the Spellbinders Christmas Poinsettia Bird Die Set and Winter Borders Die set. I also added a splash of shine with the Vivant Circle Gold Metallic Cord.  A full supply list is below.

I love that Spellbinders has the Stitch Along Kit with everything you could possibly need to help with all the stitching you will be doing with the 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar.  For my projects, I used Gold & Solid Red DMC Floss, the Poppy Field, Fern, Peridot, White, and Brushed Silver Cardstock sheets. I added some sparkle with the Gold Pop-Up Foam Sheet. I used the Color Essential Gems for the center of my ornaments too. I had no problem threading my needle that was included in this kit or losing it on my craft desk as there was also the needle threader and a Needle Minder in the Stitch Along Kit. Plus much more and I love that I was able to have a permanent home for my embroidery supplies for cardmaking in the Mesh Bad that was included!
