3 Cards, 1 Sheet! | Tools, Tips and Techniques

Hello, Fun friends! We are so very excited to share with you today because we think you're going to be so excited about what we're sharing with you. You love to be creative, right? You probably also like to get the most bang for your buck, too. That's what Creative Director Kim Kesti did by taking one single sheet of cardstock and creating 3 full size cards? Would you like to watch her do this? You can do so right here ! Let's not delay, lets take a look at Kim's cards.

Aren't those beautiful? And they are so creative, you wouldn't even guess they were from a single sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock each card is 4"x12"] and a couple of sheets of printed paper, would you? You have birthday, graduation and a lovely thinking of you card, each as fun as the last. Can you guess which style card each is? Good thing you do not have to!

FSJ T3 Card Trio 4

This festive birthday card could be given to anyone, it's so cute! It's playful and fun plus gender neutral. That is such a plus! This card is a traditional card, meaning you open it like any card. The entire front has a patterned paper base, using our Playful Prints Printed Papers . It's like this sheet of paper and the Uplift Die Set were created for one another!

Now this card, it's like a warm summer day. It is bright and cheerful and will for sure bring a smile to anyone's face! This colorful card has the same Pineapple Smoothie cardstock base but this time, using our Journey Scoring Board , the card is scored at 3" and 9" to create a gate fold. Since the gate fold card doesn't stay closed on it's own, we added the belly band you see here. Isn't that sun from the My Sunshine Die Set perfect for this card?

FSJ T3 Card Trio 2

Our third card feels like a celebration with the star printed paper and the graduation sentiment stamped on the Star-Dom die cuts. However, the real celebration might be the z fold base! The z fold was created by taking the 4"x12" piece of Pineapple Smoothie cardstock and scoring it at 6" and 3". Instead of folding both creases the same way, you alternate the folds to create a z. What a fun base to your already great card.

Would you like to watch Kim create these fun cards? Then you're in luck because you can do just that, right here!

Have you done this before? When you try it next time, or for the first time, make sure you share with us as we love to see what you create. You can find us on Facebook RIGHT HERE or on Instagram , as well!
