Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit

Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of pretty floral cards made with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit.  The beautiful floral dies, bright patterns, and fun embellishments in the collection inspired me to create three colorful cards perfect for sending a summer hello.

Colorful Smile Card

I loved the bold patterns in the Bayfair 6x6 Paper Pad and thought they would be beautifully paired with some colorful florals and gold accents for this pretty card to make a friend smile. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit, S5-635, S5-638 Trim a piece of the green patterned paper from the Bayfair 6x6 Paper Pad to 4” x 5.25”, mat it with blue cardstock, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.  Cut a strip of white floral patterned paper to 1.5” x 5.25” and adhere on the left side of the card front as shown.  Die-cut white cardstock and blue patterned paper using the Nested Postage Labels Dies, layer, and adhere to the center of the card using foam adhesive. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit, S5-635, S5-638 Die cut Pomegranate, Pink Sand, Mirror Gold, white, and various green cardstocks using the Floral Spray Die Set and assemble with liquid glue.  Arrange in the top left corner of the postage edge frame and adhere down with liquid glue and foam adhesive.  Add sentiments from the Bayfair Puffy Stickers set to finish off the card.

Floral Postal Card

With all of the cute postal references in the collection, I next wanted to create the look of a postcard.  Here I used softer colors to create a pretty bouquet for this sweet postal-inspired card for a friend. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit, S5-635, S5-638 Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Bayfair 6x6 Paper Pad to 4.25” x 5.5” and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with a tape runner.  Die cut white cardstock using the Inner Square A Die from the Nested Postage Labels Die Set and blend Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood Distress Ink up from the lower left corner with a blending brush before adding it to the card front with foam adhesive. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit, S5-635, S5-638 Die cut Pink Sand, Persimmon, Beeswax, Rainforest, Fern, and Mirror Gold Cardstock using the Floral Spray Die Set, assemble with liquid glue, and adhere to the lower left corner of the card front using liquid glue and foam adhesive.  Die cut a “stamp” out of white and blue cardstock using the Nested Postage Labels Die Set and Postage Numbers Die Set and add to the top right corner with foam adhesive.  Embellish with Crystal Mix Gems and a Bayfair Button Embellishment.

Simple Floral Friend Card

With so many beautiful embellishments, this collection is perfect for quick and easy cards as well.  Here I combined some of the chipboard and puffy sticker elements with some simple die-cuts for a pretty card for a friend. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit Trim a piece of striped patterned paper from the Bayfair 6x6 Paper Pad to 4” x 5.25”, mat it with Indigo Cardstock, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.  Die cut two ticket tags out of Raindrop and Pink Sand Cardstock using the tag die from the Nested Postage Label Die Set and embellish them with floral stickers from the Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments Set. Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit Adhere the tickets to the center of the card front with foam adhesive and add a bow made with Flashy Gold Metallic Cord.  To finish off the card, add sentiments from the Bayfair Puffy Sticker Set and Bayfair Chipboard Embellishment Set and embellish with small floral puffy stickers.
