Our 2017-2018 Inspiration Book & Catalog includes many hidden gems you may not have noticed. One of our favorites is the
House to Home Trio.
This is a set of three wooden house shaped blocks for your crafting adventures.
Combine the other mixed media items to create beautiful set for a mantelpiece, window ledge or other home display area. Grab the
House to Home Trio
, your favorite stencil, and a couple acrylic paints. Let’s play.
First let’s give each house some
Falling Petals
by placing the stencil and using
Journey Modeling Paste
to give these blocks the textured shapes. Then we can paint away. Paint the front and the edges of each home with Whip Cream Acrylic Paint. You can even add a Rock Candy Acrylic Paint to the front of the homes for an accent.
Continue to decorate the houses. Since we’ve used the Falling Petals Stencil, we continued the bloom theme with Summer Branch, Timeless Foliage, Summer Bloom Minis and Blooming Details Dies. We gave our blooms a touch of Whip Cream Acrylic Paint around the edges for a sweet subtle touch.
Complete each house with your favorite sentiment. For the two largest houses we spelled out ‘Home’ and ‘Family’ with our Solid Bet Stamp Set. Then we carried out the beautiful home idea with a loving sentiment from the Family Forever Stamp Set.
