Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection

Hello Crafters! It’s Melody Rupple here and I'm excited to be on the blog today to share a few cards I have created with the new More Fresh Picked Collection. I love the newest additions to the Fresh Picked Collection. The modern, contemporary feel of the collection is so fun for cardmaking. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection The More Fresh Picked Collection includes 3 floral dies set that work perfectly with the previously released Fresh Picked Sentiments Etched Dies and the Columns Embossing Folder. I have created three cards with the collection. So let’s get started. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S7-242 My first card features the Fresh Picked Angel Trumpets Etched Dies. You can create four different Angel Trumpets with the die set and you can use them separately or together for different looks. I die-cut all the flowers from Barely Peach Cardstock and then blended Distress Inks in Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Fitsch Flamingo, Squeezed  Lemonade, and Wild Honey for the flowers. For the leaves, I used Peridot Cardstock with Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss Inks. For the center of each flower, I used Onyx and Gold Mirror Cardstocks. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S7-242 I die-cut one of the sentiments from the Fresh Picked Sentiments Etched Dies from Mirror Gold Cardstock and two more times from Onyx cardstock. Then I layered the three die cuts on top of each other. The smaller sentiment is from the Making Me Smile Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set. The background is embossed with the Columns Embossing Folder. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S6-224 Here is a look at the Fresh Picked Daisies Etched Dies. Here I chose to cut the flowers from Purple Mist Cardstock and then do a little ink blending in the center of the flowers with a darker purple ink. I used Peridot Cardstock for the greenery and blended ink on the edges of the leaves with Forest Moss and Chipped Sapphire Inks. I die-cut the sentiment from Gold Mirror Cardstock. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S6-224 Here is a closer look at the background that is embossed with Columns Embossing Folder. I added another sentiment from the Fresh Picked Sentiments Etched Dies and finished off with a few Spectrum AB Color Essentials Gems. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S5-618 My final project features the Fresh Picked Vase Bouquet Etched Dies. I love the addition of a vase to the collection. I die cut the vase from Alabaster Cardstock, inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and splattered a little gold paint. For the flowers I used a variety of colors for the flowers and then just added a little ink blending to the edges. Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection, S5-618 For background, I blended Speckled Egg Distress Ink and added a strip of Dune Cardstock embossed with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiments are from the Making Me Smile Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set.
