Feminine Monochromatic Cards

Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Gorgeous You Collection. This collection includes four dies sets, press plate sentiments and a 3D embossing folder. This collection made me want to make mostly monochromatic cards. They were perfect to pair with the new ColorWheel Cardstock. I went through the new ColorWheel Cardstock and picked three or four shades of pink, teal, and purple. I used less than one sheet for these three cards plus I made several other cards. Feminine Monochromatic Cards, S3-517, S6-246, E3D-102, BP-236
  1. Emboss an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Cross My Heart 3D Embossing Folder. Blend on pink ink from the bottom fading to white. Adhere to an A2 card base.
  2. Die-cut pieces from Gorgeous You Makeup Etched Dies out of Blush, Dahlia, and Wild Berry ColorWheel Cardstock, Gold Glitter Cardstock, black glossy cardstock and shimmer vellum. Cut the tiny flower from the Gorgeous You Florals out of white cardstock.
  3. Add shading to the pink cardstock die cuts with slightly darker pink inks.
  4. Assemble die cuts and adhere to card with liquid glue.
  5. Create a wax seal using the Puffy Heart 3D Mini Wax Seal and the Must Have Wax Bead Mix Pink. Adhere to card.
  6. Hot foil the sentiment from Flawless Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set on Wild Berry ColorWheel Cardstock and Opaque White Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating dies. Add to card with foam strips.
  7. Add Aura Color Essentials Gems to flower centers.

  1. Die cut the Gorgeous You Makeup Bag Etched Dies from Lilac and Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock and Brushed Gold Cardstock. Cut the bag outline three times and the card hinge once from lavender to make the shaped card. To add a gift card, die cut the gift card holder from one of the bag outline pieces then adhere it to another outline layer for the back of the card, avoiding the flaps.
  2. Assemble the die cuts then add the card hinge with liquid glue.
  3. Hot foil the sentiment from Flawless Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set on Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock and Opaque White Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating dies. Add to card with foam strips.
  4. Create a wax seal using the Butterfly 3D Mini Wax Seal and Pastel Lilac and Enchanted Wax Beads. Adhere to card.
  5. Add Orchid Color Essentials Gems to flower centers in pattern.
