Quick and Easy Cards with the Oh Joyful Day Collection
Hi Spellbinders fans. Alanna Moses from EmbellishCraftLove.com and I am very excited to be guesting on the Spellbinders blog today. I have the honor and privilege of sharing with you the Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit from Rosie’s Studio. In this kit, you will get patterned paper, chipboard embellishments, a clear sticker pack, and button embellishments. There are also some additional add on pieces in this collection as well to further stretch your supplies and creativity.
If you find yourself running low on one of the products, you can also purchase the products individually if you would like.
For my first card, I started by die-cutting some gold mirror cardstock which is included in the Gold Assortment Treasured Cardstock collection that was released recently. I die-cut it using a die from the Nested Postage Labels & Tag die set. Patterned paper from the collection was die-cut using the largest postage die. I layered up a few floral ephemera pieces and then added some clear stickers for the sentiment. Some Fashion Gold Embellishments finish off this card.
My second card features more patterned paper, although this time, I die cut it using the largest die from the Nestabilities Label Eight die set. I created my scene using lots of the ephemera pieces. I added a chipboard sticker for the sentiment. I popped this panel up with foam tape and added it to my white A2 notecard. I once again finished off the card by adding in some Fashion Gold Embellishments.
For my third and final card, I took another piece of the patterned paper and die-cut it using a die from the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag die set. I added some white card stock to the back to give it stability and then ran it through my Platinum 6 machine with the Plaster 3D Embossing Folder to give it some texture. I got to work on my floral arranging, working on two clusters to frame up two corners. I decided to add in the Fashion Gold Embellishments again for this card.
I love that all three of these cards have the same type of feel and color palette. The products in this collection make it so easy to create fun cards.
