Sealed for Summer - Floral Cards with Leica Palma

Hello, crafty friends! It's Leica here, and I'm thrilled to share with you my lovely floral cards using the Sealed For Summer Collection from Spellbinders. I've created three cards with a floral theme, and I'm excited to send them to my friends.

Glimmer Bouquet Hi Card

Let's start with my first card. I used the Essential Modern Ovals Etched Dies to cut out ovals in different colors of cardstock. Then, I added a touch of elegance by hot foiling the Glimmer Bouquet Hot Foil Plate in gold on Snowdrift cardstock and cutting it with the coordinating die. I also used the Glimmer Alphabet Hot Foil Plate & Die Set to add some colorful letters using the Glimmer Alphabet Stencil. I had a little mishap with the letter "H," but I improvised by cutting additional letters in Saffron cardstock and layering them for a unique effect. To add some sparkle, I scattered gems on the card and added texture to the background using the Mandala Blooms 3D Embossing Folder.

Glimmer Bouquet Thinking of You Card

Moving on to my second card, I once again used the Glimmer Bouquet Hot Foil Plate to create a beautiful bouquet on an oval-shaped panel. This time, I colored the bouquet and the background using Copic Sketch Markers for a vibrant look.

I added gems for some extra sparkle. The card panel also received texture using the Mandala Blooms 3D Embossing Folder. For the sentiment, I used the Hexi-Gem Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, which allowed me to create multiple sentiments in one go.

Wax Seal Sentiment

For my final card, I cut out the stunning floral designs from the Sealed Blooming Stems Etched Dies and arranged them into a gorgeous bouquet, held together by a wax seal in Antique Gold. This was my first time using a wax seal, and I can't wait to incorporate it into more of my cards—it adds a fun and unique touch.

To complete the card, I layered some ovals from the Essential Modern Ovals Etched Dies and added texture to the background using the Mandala Blooms 3D Embossing Folder. That's all for my floral cards. I had an absolute blast creating them. I used cardstocks exclusively from Spellbinders, and you can find all the supplies listed below. I hope you enjoy my cards, and happy crafting!
