Seasonal Faux Stitched Cards with Nichol’s Needlework Collection

Hello! I’m Jen Kotas from whostolemyglitter.com. I’m excited to be sharing three cards featuring Nichol’s Needlework Collection from Nichol Spohr. This collection includes dies to make cards throughout the year. You could even use them without the needlework dies. Though I didn’t do it, I would recommend stamping the sentiment before die-cutting. It will produce more solid lines.i put tiny pieces of foam tape behind the gold screw fitting. You could adhere everything flat instead to avoid this.

1. Die cut the pieces from the Gathering Stitches Etched Dies, Needleworker Tool Kit Etched Dies and Faux Embroidered Stockings Etched Dies from a variety of cardstock colors. You will also need to cut the bow from Whimsical Winter Critters Etched Dies.
2. Stamp the sentiment from Nichol’s Needlework Sentiments Clear Stamp Set on the pierced circle with red ink.
3. Emboss red cardstock with the Holly and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder. Cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and adhere to an ivory A2 card base.
4. Assemble and adhere the die cuts to the card with thin foam squares and liquid glue.
5. Finish card with Red Color Essentials Gems and white gel pen highlights.

3. Emboss white cardstock with the Puff Dotty 3D Embossing Folder. Cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and adhere to an ivory A2 card base.
4. Assemble and adhere the die cuts to the card with thin foam squares and liquid glue.
5. Finish card with Aura AB Color Essentials Gems and white gel pen highlights.

1. Die cut the pieces from the Gathering Stitches Etched Dies, Needleworker Tool Kit Etched Dies, and Faux Embroidered Pumpkin Etched Dies from a variety of cardstock colors.
2. Stamp the sentiment from Nichol’s Needlework Sentiments Clear Stamp Set on the pierced circle with orange ink.
3. Emboss orange cardstock with the Autumn Serenade 3D Embossing Folder. Cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and adhere to an ivory A2 card base.
4. Assemble and adhere the die cuts to the card with thin foam squares and liquid glue.
5. Finish card with Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems and white gel pen highlights.
