Hello Crafty Friends!  This is Yana Smakula and I'm thrilled to be joining you for the 12 Days of Stitchmas . Let's take a look behind door #9! Watch video tutorial below or on our Youtube Channel :
I have 2 cards for you - one using just the 12 Days of Stitchmas advent calendar and the Stitch Along Kit ; and one more card using additional supplies from my stash. SPOILERS! 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar 2024 | Day 9 With Yana Smakula I used Poppy Field cardstock to die cut the mittens and stitched them using gold DMC thread. I also added ink blending using red ink and a small blending brush. The cuffs were cut from Barely Peach cardstock. I used teal cardstock from the Stitch-a-Long kit to create a background for my card - I foam mounted the mittens in the center and stamped a simple "Cold Hands Warm Heart" sentiment in black ink. Lastly, I embellished my card with pearls from the kit.

I used Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to create a textured background for this kit. I did partial embossing leaving space at the bottom for the sentiment. Mittens were die cut from the same colors of cardstock, but I used Barely Peach for the mitten and Poppy Field for the cuffs. Be sure to watch my video tutorial for the how-to! Have fun with your 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar.
